Our Synod has the largest proportion of rural churches in the whole of the URC. The aim is to find ways to support churches in towns and villages across the Eastern Region. We need to explore ways in which rural churches, large or small, can strengthen links with their communities, and explore any new opportunities for outreach and service in their communities and beyond.”
